Beginner Fencing Workshop

Join us for this farmer-to-farmer learning day: come build fence during a casual morning of hands-on learning and networking.

Producers and agriculture professionals are both welcome to join. This workshop is perfect for any beginners looking to gain the skills and knowledge needed for building and repairing fencing. We will be working together to build some new hard wire net fence on Baker 4 Farm, using NRCS specs for the fence. We'll also be repairing some barbed wire fence.

• Putting up an H brace

• Stretching the net wire

• Putting on clips

• Networking with others

No questions are dumb questions at this workshop- it’s meant for beginners.

We will start promptly at 9. Please arrive to check-in at 8:30. Wear your working clothes & bring some fencing pliers. Additional tools and supplies will be provided.
