About the Event
Pasture walk at the Barthe cattle farm, in conjunction with Southern University. This pasture walk will feature the Barthe's rotational grazing system, water systems, summer grazing, and more. $ includes dinner!
Please do not trust the GPS- you must approach this from the Clinton side.
From Clinton, LA:
Take Hwy 67 (Plank Road) north. Go 4 miles. At the top of the hill, there is a small voting booth on the left with a road beside it. Take a left onto that road (Beech Grove Road.)
At the Y in the road, take the GRAVEL side of the Y onto Ellis Road.
Go 3.6 miles further to the farm on the right of the road.
