About the Event

The profitability workshop, co-hosted LGLCI & LA Farm Bureau, will feature Gene Lollis as our workshop leader.

Gene has a long-standing ranching background, and is also the manager of Buck Island Ranch, a large-scale working cattle ranch owned by Archbold Biological Station in Florida. Gene gets to do all the things he is passionate about – cattle and nature - at Buck Island Ranch. In addition to raising cattle, he helps conduct agro-ecology research on all aspects of the ranching operation on behalf of Archbold.
