LGLCI is a producer led organization which represents producer interest through peer-to-peer networking, educating the general public, providing trainings, and equipping our members with the most economically and ecologically sustainable farming practices. Our team plays an integral role in ensuring that these services are available for our many stakeholders.
Communications Intern: LGLCI is hiring an intern interested in a future career in Agricultural Communications. The selected candidate will gain experience in social media planning and scheduling, basic graphic design, photography, event planning, science communication, political advocacy, working with partner organizations, outreach, and more. We are seeking an individual who is self-motivated, creative, interested in agriculture and sustainability, and able to work independently. You do not have to have grown up on a farm to be eligible. This position will be supervised by our Executive Director, but work will occur remotely with some travel around the state for events.
Candidate must be currently enrolled in a Louisiana College or High School.
Starting pay dependent on experience.
