Join us in Bossier City, LA January 21-23, 2026 for a three day Business of Grazing course, taught by Noble Research Institute and hosted by Louisiana GLCI. Learn how to increase the profitability of your farm and leave the land better than you found it.
This course is limited to only 35 participants, so don’t wait to register. Registration is $295, which includes 3 full days of instruction and lunch. This course will be focused on classroom time, with some in-field work.

Discounted rates are provided by Louisiana Grazing Lands Conservation Initiative (Louisiana GLCI). Louisiana GLCI is a producer-led and producer-focused 501(c)(3) non-profit that promotes, inspires, and teaches conservation-focused and profitable grazing practices across Louisiana and the southeast through farmer-to-farmer education and networking.
Financial Assistance is Available!
The Rancher Resilience Grant, administered by the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association, is available for any cattle producer who would like to attend the Business of Grazing course. This is a non-competitive grant, meaning anyone who meets the criteria will be guaranteed the award. Applications must be submitted by December 31, 2025.
Criteria to apply:
Cattle producer
Register on the NBCA website
Complete the USRSB modules
Attend Business of Grazing!
Once your application is complete, the grant will be rewarded as a reimbursement after the Business of Grazing course is complete. Recipients will receive a fixed amount of $510, which will help cover the cost of registration and hotel expenses.
Step 1: Select an event that qualifies for the grant and complete the scholarship application form (one grant per operation or family household).
Step 2: NCBA will reach out via email within 21 business days of your application submission. The amount that may be approved is fixed for each specific event based on reimbursement of registration and some housing costs. Recipients will need to cover any other expenses, such as travel, and meals not covered in the event registration.
Step 3: Once you receive a grant approval email, visit learning.usrsb.org and complete one of the approved module sets.
You will need to create a login to register for the modules on the USRSB website (learning.USRSB.org). Save your certificate of completion once you have completed all of the tracks within the module category to provide with the W9 Form.
Step 4: Attendance at the event is mandatory for reimbursement eligibility.
To successfully receive your reimbursement:
When at the event, take a selfie photo of yourself that shows you at the event (with a program or by some event signage).
Complete the survey and upload the photo. (Complete the Survey).
Complete a W-9 Form for NCBA's records (consult your tax advisor to understand any tax liability you may incur by receiving this grant).
Steps 1 – 4 must be completed within thirty (30) days of the event, or the grant will not be distributed.
